The premier half-marathon race in the Southwest. The 2005 race featured 13 runners breaking 1:10 on our 5000' elevation flat course.

Individual 5, 10K, and Half-marathon,
2-person 5K team (male, female, and co-ed category),
3-person half-marathon team (male, female, and co-ed category)
Packet Pickup: Friday and Saturday September 8 & 9 at Athlete's Edge.
Half Marathon Purse: 1st $1,000, 2nd $350, 3rd $150.
The Chips & Salsa Half Marathon is a USATF sanctioned event.

Car pooling is strongly encouraged. The El Pinto parking lot will be closed no later than 6:30 AM. Please do not park on 4th street near the El Pinto entrance. You can make arrangements to meet friends at the Raymond Chavez community center on 4th street near Alameda (0.9 miles distant) then pile in and drive down.
